Giles Dawson

While earning my living largely as a teacher of Classics and director of school plays, I have always been intensely interested in performing and listening to classical music. Long periods in the Chorus of the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields and as a village oratorio soloist have helped to develop this area of my life and have alerted me to the need to celebrate – and ways of celebrating - the lives and careers of great musicians.
